The Developing Global Vision of the Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets has impacted NYC like no other team has in over five decades. The transition of New Jersey to the big apple has created a buzz within the states. But what about globally? The NBA is known all world wide, the organization of the Brooklyn Nets has taken that aspect under consideration and now has expanded their marketing vision globally. First of all, by having a owner whose mainly Russian creates a buzz of this team he owes in Russia. The co-owner Jay-Z is a very well known in the music industry globally and with his help marketing the team also makes other foreign countries take a look at Brooklyn in the NYC. Once the NBA season begins we'll see if the global marketing paid off, only time will tell.

Brooklyn Nets Target Market Approach

The grand opening date is approaching soon for the reveal of the Barclay Center with the performance of the co-owner and "best rapper alive" Jay-Z. The concert is suppose draw in the first look of their target market, which is who ever can purchase the ticket to attend the concert and full capacity in the Barclay center. This is to introduce the basketball arena and the new home of the Brooklyn Nets. As long as people who has money is able to support and consume tickets to watch the new Brooklyn Nets play, then their target market is complete. The Brooklyn Nets are the first team back in Brooklyn since the baseball team the dodgers were here 55 years ago, so the marketing strategy is to understand and get a feel to the external environment to the community. Only September 28, 2012 will be known.

Ethics and Social Reponsibility from the Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn Nets being the latest and most surprising team about to start in the up and coming 2012-2013 NBA season, amerges a lot questions. All the expectations that the owners and organization have for the up and coming season is it ethical?
Ethics is the moral princples or value that influence heavily on the behavior of a group in this case the Brooklyn Nets. Owner Mikhail Prokhorov spents a little over $ 81 million dollar into the grand opening of the Brooklyn Nets. Mikhail Prokhorov keeps marketing that with the starting five of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Brook Lopes and Kris Humphies that they can actually compete with the big dogs in the NBA like OKC's starting five, Los Angeles Lakers or even the champions Miami Heat. Some morals that the Brooklyn Nets are having is the positive impact they have brought back into the borough of Brooklyn. Last time there was a team here in Brooklyn, were the Brooklyn Dodgers in the baseball world. The Brooklyn Nets having an international owner Mikhail Prokhorov (russian) brings an international look at the Brooklyn Nets. The social responsibility of having an russian owner is that, when tourists comes into New York, a lot of tourists do sight seeing but the Brooklyn Nets being a new spot will be the new center of attention.

Strategic Advantage of the Brooklyn Nets!

The Introduction of the Brooklyn Nets into the Big Apple!...
This video presents the Brooklyn Nets Marketing Plan to impact the Brooklyn Community!...
It surely made an impact on me! Can't wait for the up and coming 2012-2013 NBA season,
I being a OKC Thunder fan, makes me take a pause on my team and focus a bit on the
                               Brooklyn Nets.

The New Brooklyn Nets and their Strategic Planning towards the Brooklyn Community!

Less than a year ago, the Nets signed over from New Jersey to the big lights of New York City in a small borough call Brooklyn. I being a resident of Brooklyn, can see the impact the Nets are having and the 2012-2013 NBA season hasn't even started.

”Hello Brooklyn. I’m #8, Deron Williams, three-time NBA All-Star and father of four.”

The Brooklyn Nets marketing strategic planning is to introduce Brooklyn to the Nets and the Nets to Brooklyn. The New York Knicks are not the only power house in New York City, Brooklyn Nets are here to fight for the thrown and they are not willing to back down. Besides they entering this new NBA season, with fresh start and a shot at the championship round, they are also providing the Brooklyn community a better outlook than past troubles. Introducing the new Barclay Center on Atlantic ave, the Brooklyn community can't wait till the grand opening on September 28, 2012 of a concert of "Brooklyn's Finest" rapper/co-owner Jay-Z. The ultimate goal of the Brooklyn Nets is to bring in positive into the borough of Brooklyn as well as trophy, only the up and coming season can tell....

The Brief History of The Nets and The Mission Statement behind the Nets

An original member of the American Basketball Association (ABA), the Nets were founded in 1967 and initially played in Teaneck, New Jersey as the New Jersey Americans. In its early years, the team led a nomadic existence, moving to Long Island in 1968 and playing in various arenas as the New York Nets. It won two ABA championships in New York before becoming one of four ABA teams to be admitted into the NBA as part of the ABA–NBA merger in 1976. The team then moved back to New Jersey in 1977 and became the New Jersey Nets. During their time in that state, the Nets saw periods of losing and misfortune intermittent with several periods of success, which culminated in two consecutive NBA Finals appearances in the 2001–02 and 2002–03 seasons.
After 35 seasons in New Jersey, the team returned to the state of New York in 2012 to play in the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn as the Brooklyn Nets.
Now that they are here in Brooklyn, the expectations are higher than ever, just stay tune to find out what happens next....
